2. Required Software

Some software components need to be installed before using this instrument driver. The minimum versions of these components are listed below, and can be downloaded from the Download Site.

Bode Analyzer Suite 3.51 or newer LabVIEW 2013 or newer

    To use this driver:
  1. Unzip the folder. It should be named OMICRON Lab Bode VNA Series. Do not rename.
  2. Cut or Copy the OMICRON Lab Bode VNA Series folder.
  3. Navigate to your LabVIEW folder. It may be found in such a location as: C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 201x
  4. Enter the subfolder \instr.lib
  5. Paste the OMICRON Lab Bode VNA Series folder here.
  6. That is it! You are ready to begin programming!

  • Start Server.vi: It was not always possible to close a SCPI server after starting it via LabVIEW.
  • Close Server.vi: It was not always possible to close a SCPI server after starting it via LabVIEW.
  • Starting SCPI runner without serial number parameter `-s ` additionally searches beside Bode 100 devices also for Bode 500 USB connected devices.
  • Send Trigger.vi: Calculating the visa timeout according to the calculated measurement time.
